Four new blogs added to NB Hub

Four new blogs added to the Hub over the weekend: Alyson and Will's Adventure I Carried You Village of Chipman Windy Hill Farm Did some editing to the blog over the weekend. There were a few websites showing up without blogging code, so after checking those, they were deleted. What happens is that the blogger software will check each site for a “feed code”; if it can’t find such a code, then it assigns the site as a static website with no updates. As that is not the purpose of this Hub, I deleted those sites, so the total number of blogs sits at 202. Next weekend, I’ll start removing those which have not been updated for at least a year. As always, if you have a New Brunswick blog that you think should be added to the Hub, please send me the information via my e-mail. Thanks & enjoy your week.

200 blogs on the hub

As of today, there are 200 blogs listed on the NB Bloggers Hub – quite an accomplishment! Today’s entries … Everett Family Orchard Mark's Blog Saint John Human Development Council My thanks to each and everyone who has submitted blogs to be added to the list. There are probably 200 more out there that we don’t know about, so as always, please take a moment to send me suggestions via my e-mail . Thanks again. Enjoy the weekend.

196 and counting

Three new adds to the Hub today brings the total to 196. For the love of ... McKay's Corner Shawn Rouse Thanks to those who suggested them.  If you know of any other New Brunswick blogs you feel should be on the hub, please  e-mail me with the website addresses. Have a great day!

Bloggers Hub now totals 193

Fourteen new blogs added to the Hub today. Brings the current total to 193!! As always, thank you to everyone who is e-mailing me the suggestions. In some cases, a website may refer to itself as a blog but unless it has the necessary coding to provide a “feed”, the blogger software will not recognize it as a blog and therefore I can’t add it to the list. Those are very few, but if you find that a website you suggested is not on the list, that’s most likely the reason why. Also, I’m still adding blogs that have not updated in a number of months in the hope that they might resurrect their work; if not, within a few weeks I will begin deleting blogs that have not been updated within one year. Here are today’s adds: Amarosia burnt.normal church pottery Cape Jourimain Nature Centre EnerGreen Falls Brook Centre Manda Gardens Moncton Locals Nature of Words New Brunswick Environmental Network Noisography Renewables NB Seascape Kayak Tours The Wool Works Twisted Strand A

158 and counting!

As they used to say on radio & TV in the old days, “keep those cards and letters coming” – in this case, it’s “keep those e-mails coming” with suggestions for new blog sites to add to the hub. As of today, the list stands at 158 New Brunswick-based blogs – quite the accomplishment, considering that this project is only five days old! A special thanks to a reader on the Miramichi for sending in several blog sites there. As I said at the outset, the object of this project is to celebrate the creativity and commitment of New Brunswick Bloggers.  The scope of the content involved is mind-boggling.  If you're a blogger, good on ya! Hello and welcome to the New Brunswick Bloggers hub!

This is a small project I decided to undertake after looking and not finding a comprehensive list of New Brunswick blogs. The previous Blogroll was a great tool for finding NB Blogs, but the Blogroll program was shut down last spring and left a lot of operators of Blogrolls out of luck. A friend of mine in another area started a Blog hub using the existing features of the Blogger program and I decided to do the same with New Brunswick blogs. As of today (Mon-Sep-12-2011) there are more than 100 blogs listed and most of these are ones I’ve found through Google and link lists contained within blogs. Certainly, this is only scratching the surface and I look forward to reader participation in order to make this list as complete as possible. For the time being, the list is organized only by recent activity, so the blogs that have been updated recently will be at the top of the list while those that haven’t been updated in a while will be at the bottom of the list. Eventually, I hope t
